Top Japan players took to Arcadia Magazine (via Level Up Your Game) to reveal their tier list. The list comes from Fukushi, Yuu and others.

PS Vita: Amazon lists SFxT release date for Oct. 2

Has the cat been let out of the bag?

Amazon has updated their page for the PS Vita version of Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT). They have added an Oct. 2 release date. While Amazon usually puts mock dates on upcoming products, those dates aren't far off, most of the time.

If the date holds true, it'll be a big gap from the console release dates. Owners of the console versions of SFxT would have to wait even longer for DLC characters as Capcom intends to put them up for download on Xbox Live and PSN well after the Vita release.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Nova tech and concepts (Video)

TTT2 Producer: Story movies for each character will be much longer than Tekken 6

Story in fighting games.

If there's one thing that fighting games have been lacking in, it would be a story mode. Stories in Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT) are brief and they are non-existent in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3). The only fighting games to really take note of this recently are Mortal Kombat 9 (MK9) and SoulCalibur V (SCV).

Tekken 6 had a story mode, but there were many inconsistencies that plagued it. An example of this would be English speaking characters understanding what Japanese speaking characters said with ease.

Namco Bandai hopes to improve Tekken Tag Tournament 2's (TTT2) story. One of the ways they intend to do this is by increasing each character's movie. See what TTT2 producer, Katsuhiro Harada had to say on Twitter below:

Skullgirls: A week of action with Maximilian Day 5 (Video)
