Reminder: CEO 2012 live stream June 15-17 starting at 7 p.m. ET
Evo is getting closer.
To prepare for the biggest fighting game tournament event of the year, CEO 2012 is set to start tonight (June 15) and end on June 17, from the Wyndam Orlando Resort in Orlando, FL. The opening ceremony will take place at 7 p.m. ET.
The games scheduled for this weekend's matches are; UMvC3, SFxT, MK9, AE v.2012, KoF XIII, SCV, Tekken 6, BBCS:EX, and Skullgirls. Of the nine titles that will be on display, the first six mentioned will be in the main room at Evo 2012.
At the moment casuals are being played. At 6:15 p.m. ET, they will stop for a 25-minute presentation. For a full schedule of the event, click here.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Early access to certain characters included with limited pre-orders
Want to snag Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (TTT2) characters early?
Eurogamer has reported that certain TTT2 characters will be included as early access for limited pre-order deals. Namco Bandai will eventually release those characters free of charge on Xbox Live and PSN.
Early this month, TTT2 producer, Katsuhiro Harada said he was against DLC. This possibly eliminated any possibility of future DLC characters for Tekken 6. Harada's comment came fresh off Capcom's DLC debacle.

Tekken Producer: I don't like DLC
You get what you pay for.
That's the motto that Tekken producer, Katsuhiro Harada seems to be following these days. With controversy surrounding Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT) DLC content being lock in the disc, Harada admits he's not a fan of paying for extra content.
Harada took to Twitter to explain to a follower why Tekken 6 DLC is unlikely. Take a look at what he said below:

Tournaments such as Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat 9, Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, Tekken 6 and more will be featured at NEC XII.
Back in November, Namco Bandai announced Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and SoulCalibur V would be playable so expect those on the stream as well.
There will be broadcast streams from Team Sp00ky, GVN, 8 Way Run and Team St1ckBuG.

NEC XII Trailer

NEC XII will be hosted by Big E. He is also the host of Winter Brawl and hosted Summer Jam 5 back in August.
Tournaments for Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat 9, Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, Tekken 6 and more will be featured at NEC XII.

Devastation 2011 quick results
Welcome back to dominance Mr. Wong.
Devastation 2011 featured some of the best Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition (AE) and Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (MvC 3) players. AE players such as Mike Ross, Combofiend, Latif and more attended Devastation.
MvC 3 players like Viscant, PR Balrog and Noel Brown also competed but both tournaments had the same outcome.
Justin Wong went home the winner.

Evo 2011: Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 playable in Las Vegas
It's do or die Las Vegas ... fight!
Street Fighter: 3rd Strike Online Edition and Street Fighter X Tekken aren't the only Capcom fighters to feature a playable build at Evo 2011. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will make an appearance at the biggest fighting game tournament of the year.
Shoryuken brought word of the game's appearance at this year's Evo.

Evo 2011 schedule revealed
Evo 2011 is set to go down July 29 - 31 at the Rio Casino and Resort in Las Vegas.
Details are scarce, but a basic schedule reveals Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition and Mortal Kombat will be played on Friday (July 29). Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Blazblue Continuum Shift II and Tekken 6 will be played on Saturday.
Each tournament will have the final 8-man bracket on Sunday.

Norcal Regionals 9 quick results
Last weekend's Norcal Regionals 9 was a tournament to remember.
This event was full of great matches with players representing from USA, Japan, Korea and Canada.
The tournament had Mortal Kombat 9, Marvel vs Capcom 3 Singles and Teams, and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition Singles and Teams.
Tekken 6 was not done due to having only 20 entrants.
Did Phoenix dominate most of the event? Did Daigo take another tournament?
