Capcom reassures fans that all future SFxT upgrades will be DLC

The arcade edition jokes stop here.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) caused controversy. It wasn't because of the game mechanics, it was because the original title was released earlier that year (2011). To make matters worse for detractors, UMvC3 was on a disc for $39.99.

This time, Capcom has no plans on making history repeat itself. See the statement from Capcom-Europe on DLC for Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT) below:

Capcom VP explains why PC games come out later than console versions

Are PC gamers left in the dark?

You might think so and it's not hard to see why. While PC gamers are often allowed to use their creativity via mods, consoles often get more exclusives and companies go through extreme lengths to stop piracy.

Even if it means penalizing the ones who made the purchase.

While frustration is setting in on the gamer, Capcom cares about the PC. At least that's what vice president Christian Svensson says (via Capcom-Unity):

UFC Undisputed 3 available now on Xbox 360 and PS3

So you wanna be a fighter?

The long awaited UFC Undisputed 3 has been released today (Feb. 14, 2012) for Xbox 360 and PS3. This is the third entry in THQ's mixed martial arts (MMA) video game series.

Over 150 fighters made the roster cut. Some of those fighters can compete in the ring instead of the Octagon. That's because THQ and Yuke's have added Pride Mode. Like fighters for the now defunct promotion, players are allowed perform soccer kicks and stomps to the head of a downed opponent in the mode.

Plus Bas Rutten is on commentary. Need I say more?

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Doctor Strange Damage Demonstration

He's heard the Doctor Strangelove jokes, he's not amused.

Doctor Strange isn't considered by many to be a huge threat in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3). While his abilities can't be denied, Strange has low health, making players reluctant to choose him.

If nothing has swayed you to pick Strange for your team, maybe a damage demonstration will.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Spencer Corner Combo (Video)

IAmTamriver has uploaded the first combo in his new "Combo a Day" series. This one shows off the corner combos of Spencer in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3). See more details on the video below:

Street Fighter x Mortal Kombat?

Hell may have frozen over.

For years fans of the Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat series have been clamoring for a crossover. After years of anticipation, they may finally get one.

With both Street Fighter IV and Mortal Kombat 9 selling over three million units (sources here and here), a crossover could potentially shatter sales records. It may be the reason why both NetherRealm's Ed Boon and Capcom's Seth Killian reached out to each other via social networking.

See what Boon had to say to Killian on Twitter below:

King of Fighters XIII: Trials Tutorial (Video)

Need a "Helping Hand?" Trials in King of Fighters XIII (KoF XIII) have been regarded as the most difficult to pull off out of any fighting game. Fortunately, ApocryphicV has uploaded a tutorial video, giving you tips and tricks on how to conquer trials.

SoulCalibur V: Story Mode by Maximilian part 7 finale

Maximilian has finally done it.

He has completed the SoulCalibur V (SCV) story mode. In the week of SCV videos, Max provided live commentary like he's been doing with his "Online Warrior" videos as of late.

Now that he's done with the SCV story, it'll be interesting to see what Max plans next for the Namco Bandai fighter. Will he devote more time to Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3)? Or will he stick with SCV?

Time will tell.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Proof of concept advancing guard stun (Video)

Tritan has uploaded an interesting Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) proof of concept video. He has come up with a way to cancel your guard stun in certain situations without the use of X-Factor. This is demonstrated using Dormammu.

Street Fighter x Tekken: Daigo and Tokido play

The Capcom Channel has uploaded the latest Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT) featuring Daigo. This time the Evo 2010 champion is joined by fellow top Japan player, Tokido.

Tokido is first introduced to the game's mechanics before giving it a go on exhibition. With less than a month to go before SFxT's release, expect more features with Daigo to be uploaded soon.

The language is in Japanese, but if you're a fan of either player, you won't want to miss this.

UFC Undisputed 3: Multiplayer information (Video)

Game Center snagged an interview with UFC Undisputed 3 producer, Neven Dravinski to discuss the game's multiplayer. In the past, the Undisputed series has been plagued by laggy connection. 2009's online was a mess, while 2010 improved but had its issues.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 "Online Warrior" episode #17

Maximilian has taken a different approach with his "Online Warrior" videos.

Instead of recording his Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) online matches and inserting his voice afterward, he's now providing live commentary. He still gives tips on why he won or lost his matches.

Some of the language in this video isn't safe for work so you may want to put the headphones on or see it some other time. That way you can hear Max rage instead of your boss.

Street Fighter x Tekken: Character Walkthroughs with Balrog, Hugo and Vega (Video)

Gamesradar has posted more Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT) character walkthroughs. These new video feature Balrog, Hugo, and Vega. We should be seeing walkthroughs of Tekken characters soon. See more after the jump:
