Back in April 2012, Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada said Tekken x Street Fighter (TxSF) was under 10-percent complete. Not much else has been known about the upcoming crossover with the exception of a prototype Ryu and the possibility of 1v1 only matches.
The month of July promises to revealed more TxSF and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (TTT2) news. That's because Harada will be on stage for the Japan Expo July 6-8. The time for his presentation has not been revealed.

Tekken Nation recently posted photos of what was assumed to be Bob and Ganryu cosplaying as Street Fighter's Ken and Ryu for Tekken x Street Fighter (TxSF). The images gave hope to gamers that this would result in more news coming for Namco Bandai's shot at the crossover.
This is not the case.
Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada set the record straight on his Twitter account. The image you see is not of TxSF, but of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (TTT2).

Voting for Tekken x Street Fighter characters now open
Let the voting begin.
If you want to have a say in what characters will be featured in Namco Bandai's Tekken x Street Fighter (TxSF), you can ... sort of. That's because the official Tekken Facebook page has opened a poll allowing fans to vote for 10 characters, five from Tekken and five from Street Fighter.
Unfortunately, the page notes that voting results will not guarantee which characters make the final TxSF roster. In other words, the poll is all in good fun. After voting, you can see what the current results look like.

Tekken x Street Fighter to be 1v1?
Mano-y-mano.
Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT) will make its way to stores on March 6, 2012 for Xbox 360 and PS3. While the hype for that game grows stronger each day, one game that's waiting in the wings is Tekken x Street Fighter (TxSF).
This will be Namco Bandai's turn to show what they have to offer for the Capcom crossover. With the news surrounding SFxT, many fans assumed that TxSF would also be a tag team affair.
That, however, may not be the case according to the game's producer, Katsuhiro Harada (via Twitter):
