SFxT for iPhone devices is "almost ready to go"

Get ready for two worlds to collide in your pocket.

Back at E3 2012, Capcom quietly showcased Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT) for the iPad. It was later revealed the game would also make a splash on the iPhone and fourth generation and up iPod Touches.

Since that time, not much has been said of SFxT Mobile. Now Capcom has given some information on the iPhone version and it's good news for those itching to get their mobile fighting fix.

King of Fighters-i 2012 now available on iOS devices


King of Fighters on iOS devices just got beefier.

SNK Playmore has released the update to King of Fighters-i (KoF-i). The update is titled KoF-i 2012. Featured in the new version are 12 new characters, online play, new artwork, and trading cards.

Like many iOS fighters, KoF i-2012 utilizes a virtual joystick. You can play the game on iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 lands fifth in first-week iPhone game sales

The ride keeps going.

From the Arcades to consoles, Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (MvC2) has been just about everywhere. It's latest stop came on April 25 when it was released for iOS devices such as the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Now that last week's charts have been revealed (via Gamasutra), it's easy to see why Capcom put MvC2 in the spotlight one more time. The game landed in the top 10 iPhone game apps sales chart, nabbing fifth place.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 iOS gameplay footage

New gameplay footage of the iOS version of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (MvC2) has surfaced. MvC2 will be coming to iOS devices such as the iPhone and iPod Touch tomorrow (April 25). The game will be $4.99 but a special price will be $2.99 from launch day to May 6.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 coming to iOS devices April 25


Take the "New Age of Heroes" with you on the road.

Capcom has revealed in a press release that Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (MvC2) will be making its way to iOS devices on April 25. Fans of the second installment in the MvC series can download the app for iPhone and iPod Touch.

MvC2 hit Arcades in 2000. The game later saw releases on the Sega Dreamcast and PS2. In 2009, the game landed on Xbox Live and PSN.

Tournament mode added to Street Fighter IV Volt


If you fire up Street Fighter IV Volt, you'll notice a welcome addition to the game.

Capcom has added tournament mode to Volt. The iOS fighter was released back this summer at the iTunes store.

You can either play tournament mode offline, or connect with other players through Wi-Fi. Volt is currently on sale for $2.99 until Dec. 30, 2011.

First screenshots of SoulCalibur for iOS devices revealed

Famitsu has posted the first screenshots to the iOS conversion of Namco Bandai's SoulCalibur.

Not much is known about the iOS version of the game other than it will be controlled by the virtual game pad.

You can expect this version to be available on iTunes for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch in 2012.

Street Fighter IV Volt on sale for 99 cents until Thanksgiving


Move over 99 cents store.

Capcom has announced that Street Fighter IV Volt for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch is now on sale for 99 cents. The deal will end on Thanksgiving day (Nov. 24, 2011).

The successor to the iOS version of Street Fighter IV had a discount back in June. The sale lasted from June 30 to July 7.

Street Fighter IV Volt: Patch features Fei Long and Yun


Fei Long and Yun are now available on the go.

Capcom has released a patch for Street Fighter IV Volt. The patch for the iPhone fighter adds Fei Long and Yun free of charge. The patch also features 60 new icons and titles, a GoodFight button, and a friend request button.

Street Fighter IV Volt is available for the Apple iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad. If you already have the game, you can get Version 1.02.00 here.

Street Fighter IV Volt now available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch

It's Street Fighter in your pocket ... unless you have an iPad.

The successor to the surprisingly successful iOS version of Street Fighter IV has made its way to the app store and Capcom is having an insane discount.

Yesterday (June 30, 2011) Street Fighter IV Volt was available for only $0.99. Today it's $1.99. The price will increase one dollar more each day until July 7.
