Leave it to Ed Boon to drop a bombshell. Black Adam has been confirmed for Injustice: Gods Among Us by the Mortal Kombat co-creator.

The Injustice: Gods Among Us roster continues to grow.

NetherRealm's Ed Boon confirmed Black Adam will be a playable character in the game through his Twitter account. Adam joins his arch-rival Shazam.

Adam is a villain who debuted in 1945 for Fawcett Comics. In 1973 the character moved to DC Comics. His rivalry with Shazam may be an indicator of his role in the game's story.
