Capcom vs. SNK 2 scheduled for late April release on PSN in North America

Capcom vs. SNK 2 is set for a North American release on the PSN store. What was once a Japanese exclusive will soon be coming to the 50 states by the end of April.

North America, say hello to Capcom vs. SNK 2 (CvS2) ... again.

In September 2012, CvS2 was re-released as a "PS2 Classic" on the Japanese PSN store. The digital download is scheduled to come to the North American PSN store in late April. The release date, however isn't set in stone.

Capcom Vice President Christian Svensson took to the Capcom forums (via EventHubs) to reveal CvS2's re-entry to the United States.

"Current schedule for the release of the PS2 game is the end of April... mind you, if Sony chooses, that could move (it is later than I had originally anticipated already)."

Details on pricing have not been revealed. When CvS2 was released in Japan, it was priced at the equivalent of $15. While the price could go unchanged, nothing has been confirmed.
