Namco Bandai reveals third quarter sales of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and SoulCalibur V

The sales of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and SoulCalibur V as of today are now available. Find out how both games are doing in the market inside.

The third quarter has come to a close and the results are in.

Namco Bandai has revealed the sales of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and SoulCalibur V (SCV) as of today (Feb. 6). The report (via Game Everything) shows SCV to be shy of the one million mark. TTT2 scored over a million but failed to reach the two million sales expectations.

Here are the third quarter sales worldwide.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (PS3/360/Wii U) – 1.35 million units
SoulCalibur V (PS3/360) – 870,000 units
Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations (PS3/360) – 660,000 units

There is still time for TTT2 to hit the two million mark, but those odds aren't too great. Street Fighter x Tekken still hasn't reached its sales expectations and a significant boost from the 2013 update isn't likely. Perhaps a PC release of TTT2 could give sales a kick, but that doesn't seem to be in Katsuhiro Harada's plans.
