Breaking News: IGN looking for potential IPL buyers


IGN's venture into the competitive video game scene didn't last too long. The media outlet is now looking for potential IGN Pro League buyers. Find out what this could mean for employees such as Mike Ross inside.

Times are tough and IGN is not immune to the effects of an economy on the downside. Polygon reports that IGN has laid off an undisclosed amount of employees from their editorial staff. Websites such as 1Up, GameSpy. and UGO are gearing up for a swan song.

IGN will be sticking to coverage of eSports events as they are looking for potential IPL buyers. Should someone pick up on IPL Fighters, Mike Ross could still host his own shows such as, Mike Ross' Neighborhood.
