WB Games: We are gauging interest in Mortal Kombat 9 for PC

Not all hope is lost.

PC gamers hoping for Mortal Kombat 9 (MK9) to hit Windows have had their doubts. The NetherRealm fighter has been available for Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles since April 2011.

WB Games has confirmed that an MK9 title for the PC is not planned. They do, however, have interest in bringing the bloody brawler to keyboard warriors.

See a brief summary of what WB Games had to say (via DSOGaming) below:

"In the press release, Warner Bros stated that although there are no plans for Mortal Kombat PC, the developer and the publisher has been gauging interest about this. If we read between the lines, we can see that there will actually be a PC version of it in the near future."
