Ed Boon: Mortal Kombat can deliver a "radical experience" on next generation consoles

In terms of sales and critical acclaim, Mortal Kombat 9 (MK9) was a huge success. The game returned to its roots by reintroducing the original cast like Street Fighter IV did and the results show. While it may not be a hit with the fighting game community (FGC), numbers don't lie.

With his no nonsense attitude, it should come as no surprise that Ed Boon wants the next entry in the MK series to feel larger than life. He tells CVG, it may need to be done on an Xbox 720, PS4, and Wii U.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 coming to Wii U

Nintendo's E3 2012 press conference went down today (June 5) in Los Angeles. The company put a huge emphasis on their upcoming console, Wii U. With the console set for a holiday 2012 release, games for the system were bound to be revealed.

Namco Bandai's Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (TTT2) is one of those games. See the E3 2012 Wii U lineup video, after the jump.

Report: New Tekken title for 3DS revealed, compatible with Wii U version?

Back in February, Namco Bandai released Tekken 3D Prime Edition for the Nintendo 3DS. Now it appears the company has its sights set on a Wii U title and a 3DS title.

The new release schedule from Namco Bandai (via Fancensus) reveals two Tekken games for the upcoming Wii U console and the 3DS. If this turns out to be true, both versions could be compatible. Just 14 days after the release of Tekken 3D Prime, Katsuhiro Harada discussed what drew his attention to the Wii U.
