The widely expected update to Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition 2012 has been made official. Capcom made the announcement in Boston today.

Street Fighter IV: Chun-Li Guard Break by Desk (Video)

No we didn't forget to add "Super" or "Arcade Edition" to the title. Desk has gone back to the original Street Fighter IV to reveal a little known fact about "Ultra freeze." The uploader uses Chun-Li to demonstrate the new tech. Keep in mind, this was patched shortly after Super was released, but can still be used in the original (vanilla).

Street Fighter x Mortal Kombat?


Hell may have frozen over.

For years fans of the Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat series have been clamoring for a crossover. After years of anticipation, they may finally get one.

With both Street Fighter IV and Mortal Kombat 9 selling over three million units (sources here and here), a crossover could potentially shatter sales records. It may be the reason why both NetherRealm's Ed Boon and Capcom's Seth Killian reached out to each other via social networking.

The first gameplay footage of Street Fighter IV (SFIV) for Android devices has been uploaded by Recombu. The game's interface is virtually identical to the iOS versions.

Capcom reveals Street Fighter IV for Android

On Feb. 17, 2009 Street Fighter IV (SFIV) was released in North America for Xbox 360 and PS3. Eventually, PC and iOS versions were released.

Over three years later, the game will make its way to another system.

Capcom took to CES 2012 to announce that SFIV will make its way to Android devices in May for $12.99 (via Gadget Help Line).

The report has dubbed this version as "SFIVHD."

Street Fighter IV Volt on sale for 99 cents until Thanksgiving


Move over 99 cents store.

Capcom has announced that Street Fighter IV Volt for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch is now on sale for 99 cents. The deal will end on Thanksgiving day (Nov. 24, 2011).

The successor to the iOS version of Street Fighter IV had a discount back in June. The sale lasted from June 30 to July 7.

Street Fighter IV Volt now available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch

It's Street Fighter in your pocket ... unless you have an iPad.

The successor to the surprisingly successful iOS version of Street Fighter IV has made its way to the app store and Capcom is having an insane discount.

Yesterday (June 30, 2011) Street Fighter IV Volt was available for only $0.99. Today it's $1.99. The price will increase one dollar more each day until July 7.

Capcom is dropping the price on four of their iOS games. One of the games is the critically acclaimed Street Fighter IV app. The game will be on sale via the Apple Store until July when Street Fighter IV Volt releases.
