Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Missing DLC coming to PS Vita Feb. 28

Have no fear, DLC is almost here.

Fans expecting to download Jill Valentine and Shuma-Gorath on the PS Vita version of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) were in for a surprise. Not a particularly pleasant one, however.

Last minute issues prevents the DLC characters from transferring from the PSN store to Sony's new handheld. According to Capcom, this will no longer be an issue by Tuesday (Feb. 28):

Arcade Stick for UMvC3 PS Vita version (Video)

The selling point of handhelds are to play them on the go. Some days, however, the gamer would just like to sit back and play at home. Imaginglabo has posted a video of an arcade stick being used on the PS Vita version of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3).

PS Vita: No 3G support for Mortal Kombat

Mortal Kombat was announced for the PS Vita by Sony back in November 2011.

The version will have all the features and characters from the console versions. What the Vita version won't have is 3G functionality.

Mortal Kombat co-creator, Ed Boon, explains to Click why you'll only be able to play the game online via WiFi:

NetherRealm has made it clear that the same features found on the console versions will be found on the Vita. This includes online modes and characters. Even the graphics haven't lost much in detail.

IGN has revealed the trailer for the new Mortal Kombat Vita title. Watch it after the jump:

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) has been out for Xbox 360 and PS3 since November 2011. The game will hit the PS Vita as a launch title on Feb. 22.

The port will have some exclusive features such as replays. In this mode, you can even view hitboxes of characters.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 coming to PlayStation Vita?

Or is it Ultimate?

The French version of Amazon's website has Marvel vs. Capcom 3 listed for a future release on the PlayStation Vita. Some news outlets suggest that Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 could be making its way to Sony's upcoming touchscreen handheld, but the site shows no reference to Ultimate.

An Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 release on the PlayStation Vita shouldn't come as too big of a surprise. Capcom announced at E3 this year that Street Fighter X Tekken would see a release on the new handheld.
