Ryota Niitsuma wants more fighting games on the go

More hyper combos and ultras in your pocket.

With Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) for the PS Vita and Super Street Fighter IV for the Nintendo 3DS, fighting games are starting to make their presence felt on the go. Even Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT) will be available for the Vita.

UMvC3 producer Ryota Niitsuma is pleased with the Capcom's decision to make fighters available on handhelds. In fact, he tells VG247 that he'd like to see more of it:

"Personally, I believe that fighting games should have a version on home consoles and then a version on handhelds which make it fun for people on the go, utilizing its features. I think that the players also feel the same way. If we start seeing fighting games sold only on portable systems, then that would be a whole different story."
