Notes and Highlights from New York Comic-Con 2012
The weekend of all weekends has ended.
New York Comic-Con (NYCC) 2012 took place at the Jacob Javits Center in Manhattan from Oct. 11-14. The event saw panels, autograph and photo sessions, movies, and cosplayers. Many video game companies took to the event to showcase their upcoming products.
On the fighting game side, Capcom, Namco Bandai, SuperBot, and NetherRealm put their latest efforts on display. Demos of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, Injustice: Gods Among Us, DarkStalkers Resurrection, and more were tested by the massive turnout at NYCC 2012.

NYCC 2012 LIVE updates this weekend (Oct. 11-14)
One of the biggest conventions of the year has hit New York City.
New York Comic-Con (NYCC) 2012 began today (Oct. 11) and Capcom kicked things off with three announcements. With Capcom now looking to reveal details for games other than fighters for the remainder of the event, who will step up?
A demo of Injustice: Gods Among Us is set to feature numerous characters including Green Arrow. Namco Bandai will have the Wii U version of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (TTT2) on display as well.

Capcom went into the Jacob Javits Center for New York Comic-Con 2012 to reveal a few surprises. One of them ended up being Darkstalkers Resurrection. Now Capcom-Unity has posted the announcement trailer.

While Capcom had announced Darkstalkers Resurrection at New York Comic-Con 2012, they weren't finished with talk of the series at their showcase. Using Street Fighter IV style graphics, Capcom teased a new installment in the vampire fighter series with "Darkstalkers Are Not Dead."
Lord Raptor and Demitri were the main attractions of the trailer. We will add the trailer to this article when it's posted.

[UPDATE] Street Fighter x Tekken 2013 revealed, will be free update
2013, meet Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT).
Yoshinori Ono announced at New York Comic-Con 2012 that SFxT will be receiving a 2013 update. Here is Ono's tweet:
"SFxTK 2013! we had announce at NYCC!! of course its free!!"
The update will drop in Dec. 2012. The update will be available on Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and PS Vita.
Capcom has posted some changes to certain characters. This list isn't final and more changes are expected to be revealed in the near future. See the changes below.

Darkstalkers Resurrection announced, coming to XBLA and PSN
Surprise, surprise.
Capcom's Yoshinori Ono has proven the rumor starters right ... sort of. He took to New York Comic-Con 2012 to announce Darkstalkers Resurrection. The bundle will contain the first and third main games of the series.
Derek Neal will serve as the game's producer. It will be released as a download on the Xbox Live Marketplace and PSN Store for 1600 Microsoft Points and $14.99, respectively.

Get ready for another year of Comic-Con in New York City.
Today (Oct. 11) marks the start of the 2012 New York Comic-Con (NYCC) at the Jacob Javits Center. Capcom will be on hand streaming a live feed of the festivities. They will start airing at 6:30 p.m. ET, which is after their Street Fighter 25th Anniversary celebration. For a schedule, click here.
Capcom has promised some "serious surprises" in their press release. Could we be seeing Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition v.2013? Is a new Darkstalkers game underway? Am I talking too much?
Let's say the answer to that last question is a yes.

NYCC 2012: Capcom reveals streaming schedule
Today (Oct. 11) is the day.
New York Comic-Con 2012 will begin today and Capcom is looking to make a statement at the Jacob Javits Center. They've already unveiled their panel, now they have posted their streaming schedule on Capcom-Unity.

NYCC 2012: Capcom panel revealed
We're just two days away.
New York Comic Con (NYCC) 2012 will kick off on Thursday (Oct. 11) from the Jacob Javits Center. Capcom has revealed their panel for the event and it starts with the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Street Fighter.
Capcom will stream their festivities. FightVG.com will post the feed before it airs.
