TTT2 set for release the week of Sept. 10; Europe Collector's Edition revealed

In a press release, Namco Bandai has revealed Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (TTT2) will be released the week of September 10. Europe will receive the title on Sept. 14. TTT2 will be landing on Xbox 360 and PS3.

The game has already made a splash in Japanese Arcades. From the Unlimited update to even a tier list, TTT2 has already made a mark on fighting games without even seeing a console launch yet.

Yesterday (May 21), Michelle, Ogre, Angel, and Kunimitsu were confirmed as DLC. The press release notes that all four characters will be available at launch. It'll be interesting to see whether or not those characters are locked on the disc.

TTT2's release date wasn't the only interesting thing to note of Namco Bandai's recent press release. The company also revealed a "We Are Tekken" edition for the UK. GAME will be the exclusive provider of the collector's edition.

This edition comes with the game's soundtrack, another CD with remixes, an artbook with 200 pages, and a behind the scenes video with TTT2 producer, Katsuhiro Harada. This will all come in a metal case.
