Street Fighter x Tekken: Confusion to blame for Gems ruckus

It all started at this year's New York Comic-Con.

Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT) producer, Yoshinori Ono, announced the release date (March 6, 2012) and special edition of the game in New York City. He also revealed the gem system which Capcom dubbed "revolutionary."

Here's what Killian had to say regarding the gem system controversy (via Gamasutra):

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Mega Man returns?

Is this the real deal or a clever troll?

The background of a new stage in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC 3) reveals a poster of past Marvel vs. Capcom characters that have yet to grace fans with their presence in the third installment of the game. All but one character is labeled apprehended, slain or missing.

That character is Mega Man.

With this latest Mega Man tease, one has to wonder if the character who helped build the franchise that is Capcom will make his triumphant return to UMvC 3 or if the fans are being played.

Two Cents: Super Smash Bros Brawl Community and the Meta Knight ban

The Unity-Ruleset Committee recently announced that they will ban Meta Knight on July, 9 2012 after Apex 2012.

The ban only follows those who use the Unity Ruleset.

The ruling has sort-of caused a split in the community between those who use the Unity Ruleset and those who don’t. One side argues that Meta Knight should not be banned and people should learn to deal with it and learn how to fight him. The other feels like the character is a plague to the community and is not allowing the competition aspect of Brawl to evolve.

Both sides constantly argue back in forth on rules that are constantly being made to change the competitive aspect of this game.

Sorry America.

At E3 2011, Aksys announced that Blazblue: Continuum Shift Extend would be released in Japan and North America for Sony's upcoming touchscreen handheld, PlayStation Vita.

Now, Aksys has revealed that PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will be released on Dec. 17, 2011. This is the same date the PlayStation Vita version will be released in Japan.

With North American fans left in the dark, we wonder if Extend will ever make its way to the states.
