Street Fighter x Tekken: PC version may receive 1.02 patch next week

Better late than never.

Capcom has brought word on the status of the 1.02 patch for the PC version of Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT). The patch has been sent to Microsoft and approval is pending. If all goes well, the patch will be released next week.

The 1.02 patch hit Xbox 360 and PS3 back in April. The fix was made to remove infinites from the game, but a new problem arose. A glitch with Rolento caused the game to freeze.

Capcom vice president Christian Svensson also discussed the upcoming 1.05 patch.

"The 1.02 patch has been submitted to MS (it's really two patches, one for Steam, one non-Steam). If it gets approved, it could go live next week. If it's not approved, well, then that would unfortunately be longer. We aren't expecting any issues but you never know.

The following patch will bring the game to 1.05, however the developer still hasn't received 1.05 source code from the Japan team to even begin that process yet. I unfortunately have no ETA on that.

Hope that lets folks know where we are."
