U.S. release of Phantom Breaker to receive an update

Out with the old, in with the new.

It looks like the current version of Phantom Breaker will stay in the "Land of the Rising Sun." That's because the game will receive a title update in Japan to go along with its U.S. release, according to Siliconera.

Last week, it was reported that 7Sixty would bring Phantom Breaker to North America. The subsidiary of Southpeak Games confirmed the story when they unveiled the official announcement trailer.

Phantom Breaker was released in Japan back in June 2011. The anime fighter has a roster containing mostly female characters.

When the game hits stores in North America, its availability will be circumscribed. 7Sixty will only be releasing the game as a limited edition, which includes a strategy guide, calender and two double-sided posters.

Phantom Breaker hits store shelves March 6.
