The fans have wanted it and now they will get it. Edition Select is coming online.

At their Evo 2014 panel, Capcom announced Edition Select in Ultra Street Fighter IV (USFIV) will be coming to unranked online play in the future (via SRK's Twitter). In addition to that, delayed wakeup will be available in training mode.
A complete balance update wasn't confirmed, but hitbox and other bug fixes are planned. USFIV developers are investigating online issues, but no fixes have been confirmed.
