Tekken Tag Tournament 2 available now

Get ready for the next battle.

Namco Bandai's Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (TTT2) is now (Sept. 11) available in North America for Xbox 360 and PS3. A Wii U release is expected later this year. The game has been met with much anticipation since its Arcade release in Japan.

Last minute information has been coming out such as the Arcade mode opening, achievement list, additional free DLC characters, and an online pass. Namco Bandai has a tough road ahead of them as they've released TTT2 at a time where the oversaturation of fighting games has become a hot topic.

The good news is that the game appears to have struck gold early with the fighting game community (FGC). Today, TTT2 will be streamed by Peaceful Jay, a popular fighting game streamer who gives away prizes for online tournaments. The game will make its debut at Next Level for the Big Two tournament series tomorrow (Sept. 12).

FightVG.com will post both streams when they air.

Time will tell if Namco Bandai's lofty sales expectations will become reality. If the hype has stuck with both casual and hardcore gamers, then those goals may be surpassed quickly.
