TTT2 to utilize online pass?

via EventHubs
You didn't think all things were peaches and cream for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (TTT2), did you?

While news on TTT2 is usually met with praise, this latest discovery may not be a fan favorite. An EventHubs member has sent pictures of the TTT2 listing on the Xbox Live Marketplace through Parternet. The pictures also reveal the bikini bundle and characters both of which will be free sometime after the pre-order specials are over.

Online passes are 800 Microsoft Points or $10 on PSN. While the pictures say the pass is free, Namco Bandai could easily price it before its release.

Fernando's POV: Ugh. If this is true then I'm disappointed in Namco Bandai. Online passes don't help the consumer at all. If you buy it used then you're screwed on the online portion unless you pay the extra $10, defeating the purpose of buying it for cheaper. If you buy it new then you have to waste time putting in a code. And the gaming industry wonders why it loses money. I'll give them a hint, it's not because of used games. It's because games are $60 and they try to gouge people for more money with paid DLC (TTT2 excluded) and online passes.
