DEVASTATION will not take place this year. Jedirobb, the founder and event director of DEVASTATION took to YouTube to be the bearer of bad news. Sponsorship dropouts and personal issues doomed the event.
Last year's DEVASTATION event saw Justin Wong return to his throne in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition action. This event was packed with top players like previous years, which makes this announcement more shocking.
