Don't worry Sakura, you'll get to team with Ryu-San on the PC soon.

Capcom's Derek Neal reveals DLC characters for the PC version of Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT) are "essentially finished." Before they can reach the public, Capcom must land an approval from Microsoft as the game is available on Games for Windows Live as well as Steam.

The 12 DLC characters include Sakura, Blanka, Elena, Dudley, Guy, Cody, Alisa, Lars, Christie, Lei, Jack, and Bryan. They were released on Xbox 360 and PS3 at the end of July.

"Hello everyone -

For those who don't know me, I'm the Capcom USA producer who handles most of our Fighting Game projects.  Starting today, I'm also going to be taking on a slightly more active role in bringing you guys news about these projects - straight from the battlefront!
Mostly, the development of our big Street Fighter titles is done out of Japan, by some guys whose names you may have heard:  Ayano Tomoaki and Yoshinori Ono.  But at some point all of our fighting game projects have to touch the US, and when they do, I'm usually involved at some level.  I'm also directly responsible for some of our smaller fighting game projects, like the upcoming Marvel vs. Capcom Origins.
Today, I'm passing along an update about the next batch of DLC for Street Fighter x Tekken (PC), which among other things will include all of the new characters.  Here's the update:  the development work for this DLC batch is essentially finished, but we still need to wrap up QA and get Microsoft to approve it all before we'll actually be able to release it to the public.  As soon as the status changes, I'll hop back on the blog and let everyone know.

Cheers,
Derek"
