Street Fighter x Tekken: Pandora Mode is weak-sauce and may be cut

Believe it or not, those are the words of Capcom community manager, Seth Killian.

Destructoid interviewed Killian to explain Pandora mode in Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT). The response he gave was almost certainly not what fans were expecting.

While honesty has always been expected from him, Killian's latest comments on Pandora mode are extreme to say the least. Not only does he admit Pandora mode needs tweaking, he also says the mode may be cut before SFxT hits stores on March 6, 2012.

Read what Killian had to say below.

"Pandora [mode] right now I would say is pretty weak-sauce. I would not activate it. We’re still playing with it and trying to figure [it] out … This is not the final form. We’re going to try to make Pandora more interesting or just cut it. I’m not above cutting it even though we just announced it.”
Woah.

Pandora mode has seen its share of problems. Last month, a timeout glitch was caught on video at a first look event, resulting in a draw game despite the health discrepancy.

With Killian's latest comments on Pandora mode, one has to wonder if Capcom will abandon it before SFxT hits the market.
