IFC Yipes rejoins Empire Arcadia, still supports Broken Tier

The west coast has found their Curleh Mustache

Tonight (July 1) BT IFC Yipes presents the west coast edition of the Curleh Mustache at Super Arcade in Walnut, California. This tournament is Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) only with some of the top players on the west coast vying for the top prize.

Competitors such as Justin Wong, F. Champ, Viscant and many more will be there. The event starts at 7 p.m. ET. Sp00ky is currently testing out the stream so you may be able to catch some early action.

Curleh Mustache heading to the west coast on June 30

The west coast has found their Curleh Mustache.

IFC Yipes announced on the Season's Beatings Summer Slam stream (via Event Hubs) his taking his monthly Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) tournament away from the east coast, for now at least.

Curleh Mustache's latest date is set for June 30. The tournament will take place at Super Arcade in Walnut, California. Sp00ky will stream the event as always.

Curleh Mustache 3 announced for March 31

Yipes and the crew are coming.

The third edition of Yipes' Curleh Mustache 3 tournament is set to go down on March 31 from Next Level in Brooklyn, NY. Sp00ky will stream the event. The tournament will feature a slew of top tournament players from New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Maryland.

Curleh Mustache will remain an Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) only tournament. Players planning on participating in the tournament are sure to put down Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT) for some wall bouncing, off the ground (OTG) insanity.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Curleh Mustache #2 announced for Jan. 28

Jan. 28, 2012 is a special date.

Millions will remember it as the night Rashad Evans squared off with Phil Davis on UFC on Fox 2 to determine if "Suga" will face Jon Jones for the UFC light heavyweight championship.

For most who visit this site regularly and follow the fighting game community, they will tune in to the second edition of IFC Yipes' Curleh Mustache tournament. This Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) brings out the best players from both the east coast and the west coast.

Reminder: SRK Showmatch tomorrow (Dec. 10) at 7:00 p.m. ET

Tomorrow night (Dec. 10, 2011) SRK will hold its second live showmatch stream at 7:00 p.m. ET.

The stream will show a $1,000 Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) tournament featuring New York's top players. Competitors include, Brokentier IFC Yipes, RayRay, DRS MastaCJ, Dieminion, UVG Noel Brown, TS NerdJosh, LB NYChrisG and AG MarlinPie.

While Sp00ky will once again host the event, it'll be streamed on SRK Live. FightVG.com will post the live tournament stream before it airs.
