It Came from Capcom: Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters

Mega Man returns in Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters.

The game was originally released in the arcades as a Japan only title in 1996. It was later ported to consoles and made available in America as part of the Mega Man Anniversary Collection.

Power Battle's successor basically plays the same as its predecessor. The controls are the same and as you advance through the levels you gain a new boss ability.

It's a blast from the past as even more enemies and allies return in this awesome arcade adventure. Mega Man, Bass, and Proto Man return with Duo, a new playable character who first made his appearance in Mega Man 8.

Each character has their own unique abilities. There are three stories in the game that vary with each character. You must face the evil Robot Masters to advance in the story.

The game has even more team abilities in multiplayer mode, which is a lot of fun. Replaying the game made me miss the original Mega Man series.

Team up with a friend and fight off the evil that is threatening the Mega Man Universe.

If you loved Mega Man: The Power Battle definitely try out its sequel. It’s basically the same game but with new abilities and bosses. It also has cool references from the past and future games of the series.

In Bass’s ending you get a cool little hint of how Dr.Willy created Zero from Mega Man X.
