Darkstalkers Resurrection made the top ten list of PSN titles sold in March. Despite this, it's not enough to be considered a success in the eyes of Capcom's vice president.

Capcom won't "even hint" at an SFxT 2013 patch date for PC
Sorry PC gamers, looks like Pandora mode will still be "weak-sauce" on the PC version of Street Fighter x Tekken for a while. See what Capcom's Vice President had to say on the 2013 patch that has been stuck in limbo.

Quick Quote: No more Capcom fighting games planned for 2012, VP can't speak on announcements
"And I can say there are no planned releases for fighting titles in the remainder of the calendar year. MvC Orgins was the last fighting game release for this particular year on any platform. Beyond that, I'm not able to comment about announcements of fighting games on any platforms at this time. Sorry."Capcom's Vice President Christian Svensson took to the Capcom-Unity forums to let fan know there are no more planned fighting game releases for 2012. He also says he can not discuss any announcements of fighting games in 2013. Yoshinori Ono recently hinted at a special trailer for New York Comic Con, which will begin on Thursday (Oct. 11).

Quick Quote: Capcom won't 'spill the beans' on SFxT updates but news is coming soon
"There will be some news on this (Street Fighter x Tekken) front quite soon. Can't spill the beans yet."Capcom Vice President Christian Svensson was recently asked on Capcom-Unity (via EventHubs) what the status is on the promised SFxT updates. While he says he can't go into detail, he assures gamers that news will be released in the near future. Time will tell if the rebalancing will win over the fighting game community (FGC).

Capcom VP: We have not done a good job of truly teaching new players the basics
Class is not in session.
Capcom hasn't exactly been hitting close to home with titles such as Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, but their fighting games have yet to take a nosedive. Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT) isn't exactly setting the fighting game community (FGC) on fire, but it's not a terrible game by any means.
While the hardcore gamers have their fill when it comes to fighters from Capcom, what about the casual fans? Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) is arguably the most hyped fighting game on the market, yet so many gamers who are out of the loop are tuning out.
Capcom's Vice President Christian Svensson admits on Capcom-Unity there may be separation with new players.

Speed Slider featured in Marvel vs. Capcom Origins
Marvel vs. Capcom Origins had a playable demo at San Diego Comic-Con 2012. Those who played it noticed the turbo settings were locked to Turbo 1. This had some MvC fans concerned.
Capcom Vice President Christian Svensson was asked on the Capcom-Unity forums about the lock. Svensson pulled a quote from Derek Neal and confirms a speed slider.

PC version of SFxT getting DLC characters in September
Slowly but surely.
The announcement of the July 31 date for Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT) DLC characters came as a surprise. The characters weren't expected to be released for consoles until well after the PS Vita version of the game passed. That's now a thing of the past.
While a console date was nice, PC gamers wondered if they'd once again be left in the dust. While PC gamers will have to wait about five or six weeks more, they do have a date.
Capcom Vice President Christian Svensson took to Capcom-Unity to address the concerns of a DLC release date for the PC version of SFxT.
Capcom VP explains game choices for Marvel vs. Capcom Origins
"You can't always get what you want."
Marvel vs. Capcom Origins was revealed last week to mostly positive feedback. Who wouldn't love two classic Capcom titles remade and featuring online play? Not to mention the price of those two games are $20 or 1200 Microsoft Points.
Unfortunately you can't please everyone. While Marvel Super Heroes and Marvel vs. Capcom seemed to be no brainers for Origins, some fans questioned the decision. Those hoping for Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter to be included in the remade were disappointed.
Capcom's Vice President Christian Svensson has heard the feedback and makes it clear they have not gone unnoticed. That probably won't change the fact that Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter is not on the company's agenda. At least not at this time.
See Svensson explain, after the jump.

Street Fighter x Tekken: PC version may receive 1.02 patch next week
Better late than never.
Capcom has brought word on the status of the 1.02 patch for the PC version of Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT). The patch has been sent to Microsoft and approval is pending. If all goes well, the patch will be released next week.
The 1.02 patch hit Xbox 360 and PS3 back in April. The fix was made to remove infinites from the game, but a new problem arose. A glitch with Rolento caused the game to freeze.
Capcom vice president Christian Svensson also discussed the upcoming 1.05 patch.
Seth Killian leaves Capcom, Christian Svensson comments
All things must come to an end.
The working relationship between community manager Seth Killian and Capcom is no exception. Killian has took to the Capcom-Unity blog to reveal his departure from the company as he has his sights set on a new challenge.
Capcom vice president Christian Svensson has commented on the departure. See what Killian and Svensson had to say, after the jump.

Capcom VP: UMvC3 team already working on new things
Moving on.
At the moment, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) seems to be the most popular fighting game. As mentioned in our UMvC3 Evo 2012 preview, the game captured the excitement of the fighting game community (FGC) that no other title before it has been able to do.
Despite the tremendous reception on the competitive field, Capcom isn't eager to update the title with more DLC. In fact, the UMvC3 team has moved on according to Capcom's Vice President Christian Svensson (via Event Hubs).

Capcom re-evaluating DLC delivery method
So they say.
Before its release, Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT) was marred by controversy. Since they were first announced at New York Comic Con 2011, gems have left a bad taste in the mouths of the fighting game community (FGC). An even bigger issue occurred just before launch day.
On-disc DLC.
To avoid more controversy in the future, Capcom Vice President, Christian Svensson has took to Capcom-Unity to address fans who are losing hope and patience. See his official statement after the jump.

Capcom VP responds to SFxT post patch netcode concerns
Post patch woes?
Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT) has been praised by critics, but panned by many fans. Besides the locked DLC issue, SFxT has been plagued by sound issues online. Rather than hearing your punches connect fluidly, the sound would tear.
Capcom released a patch that improved the sound. Gamers have been reporting however, that the game is suffering from slight input delays online as a result of the fix.
The Vice President of Capcom, Christian Svensson, has responded to those concerns on Capcom-Unity:

Capcom VP: There will be some news on the SFxT analog controller issues
Analog woes.
Playing the Xbox 360 version of Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT) with the analog stick seems like suicide. When trying to jump forward, your character will often just move forward or jump in an undesired direction.
Fans have feared that Capcom would not respond to the issue. Those fears seem unwarranted now as the company has acknowledged the problem. See what Capcom Vice President, Christian Svensson had to say on Capcom-Unity below:

Cliff Bleszinski: On-disc DLC is an ugly truth of the gaming industry
Disc locked content.
It's the three words fans have been saying since DLC was found hidden in the Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT) disc. Rather than let fans know about this practice ahead of time, Capcom stood silent until the content was discovered. The company wishes they could go back in time to change their strategy.
But don't take my word for it. Capcom's Vice President, Christian Svensson said he didn't want DLC to be handled the way it was.
Now Gears of War and Epic Games director, Cliff Bleszinski is chiming in on Capcom's situation. See what "Cliffy B" had to say to GameSpot below:

Street Fighter x Tekken: PC version will not feature local online co-op
Microsoft blues.
Earlier this month, Capcom confirmed that there would be no patch for local online co-op on the Xbox 360 version of Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT). Despite being advertised in the manual, Capcom only made this feature available on the PS3.
First, the company claimed the feature was impossible to do on the Xbox 360 version, then they claimed there would be more news on it in the near future. Instead, Capcom Vice President, Christian Svensson once again confirmed the lack of the feature.
Now, Svensson continues to cause Microsoft gamers grief. See what he had to say on the Capcom-Unity boards below:
