Pictured: Nightwing, who will be in the game from the get-go and NOT DLC.
NetherRealm + on-disc DLC = no-go.

Capcom took a big hit in their fanbase when locked on-disc content was revealed in Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT). The company did themselves no favors by charging $20 or 1600 Microsoft Points for the 12 additional characters.

While fanboys took the bait as they always do, those opposed to it spoke out. Mortal Kombat and Injustice: Gods Among Us front man Ed Boon promises NetherRealm will not make the same shady business decisions as their rival.

Capcom re-evaluating DLC delivery method

Before its release, Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT) was marred by controversy. Since they were first announced at New York Comic Con 2011, gems have left a bad taste in the mouths of the fighting game community (FGC). An even bigger issue occurred just before launch day.

On-disc DLC.

To avoid more controversy in the future, Capcom Vice President, Christian Svensson has took to Capcom-Unity to address fans who are losing hope and patience. See his official statement after the jump.
