Persona 4 Arena to be region locked on PS3
What a twist.
If there's one thing hardcore gamers can agree on, it's the awesomeness of PS3's region free games. Fans of Anarchy Reigns who can't wait for a North American release can get the Japan version of the game right now and play on their system. The only difference (so far) is the title name, which is Max Anarchy in the Japanese version.
So with the number of region free games, it's a no brainer that Persona 4 Arena would also follow suit, right. Well that's not the case this time. Atlus (via EGM) has revealed Persona 4 Arena will be region locked on PS3.
While Atlus makes it clear this is not going to be a company policy, they admit the fear of players in Japan importing American copies was too great (on the Japanese side that is). See the full statement below.

A competitive look at PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale
The game was officially announced in late April. It's been confirmed to feature Kratos, PaRappa the Rapper, and others. The roster is far from being 100-percent unveiled so expect many more character announcements in the near future.
You've probably seen the trailer but the question remains, how will it fair competitively? CLASH Tournaments decided to make a video to break down how it may be received by the pros. Watch the video after the jump.
Cross platform support possible for PC version of Skullgirls
Compatibility.
Skullgirls has taken over the media. From the its high sales, to upcoming patches, Reverge Labs has kept Skullgirls relevant. They of course had a little help from their growing fanbase.
Now the all female fighter is back in the spotlight. This time it's news regarding the PC version. Cross platform compatibility has become a popular feature that the PS Vita and PS3 can perform. As cool as that is, what about PC to PS3 play?
The developers took to Twitter to make it clear that it's a possibility. See the quote below:

Capcom x Uncharted: Nathan Drake was almost a playable character in SFxT
Not this time Drake.
Cole McGrath from InFamous is the major PS3 and PS Vita exclusive for Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT). The hero (or villain) with electricity-based powers wasn't going to be Sony's poster boy for SFxT.
Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series was considered as Sony's main exclusive. The decision came down to Cole or Drake according to Seth Killian's interview with the PlayStation Blogcast.
Cole won out.
