NetherRealm (via CVG) has posted a reveal trailer for Injustice: Gods Among Us. The trailer confirms Green Arrow as a playable character. Green Arrow made his debut for DC Comics in Nov. 1941.

Injustice: Gods Among Us Collector's Edition Announced

Today (Sept. 26) Warner Bros. Entertainment and DC Entertainment announced the Collector's Edition of Injustice: Gods Among Us. This limited edition will be available for Xbox 360 and PS3. The announcement did not mention the Wii U version receiving a Collector's Edition.

Injustice is set for an April 2013 release. An exact day has not been determined. The Collector's Edition includes exclusive character skins, a statue, a digital download of Justice League: Doom, and more.

It's not a confirmation but a possibility will do for now.

NetherRealm's Injustice: Gods Among Us is set to be filled with top heroes and villains from DC Comics. The game already has Batman, Nightwing, Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, Catwoman, and more. Adding The Joker seems to be a no-brainer.

Ed Boon took to his Twitter account to answer a fan question. "Is their a possibility that The Joker will become a playable character in Injustice?" Peep what Boon said below.

Ed Boon dismisses on-disc DLC for Injustice: Gods Among Us

NetherRealm + on-disc DLC = no-go.

Capcom took a big hit in their fanbase when locked on-disc content was revealed in Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT). The company did themselves no favors by charging $20 or 1600 Microsoft Points for the 12 additional characters.

While fanboys took the bait as they always do, those opposed to it spoke out. Mortal Kombat and Injustice: Gods Among Us front man Ed Boon promises NetherRealm will not make the same shady business decisions as their rival.
