Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3: DLC costume glitch patched

Chances are, you saw this coming.

Rather than adding more interesting characters or addressing the severe lack of content in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3), Capcom has delivered a patch for themselves. The company has patched the DLC costume glitch.

The bug would give gamers access to DLC skins that are available for purchase. This also allowed gamers to play as Magneto's "removed" DLC attire.

Last month UMvC3 producer, Ryota Niitsuma, said the glitch would be patched. At least he finally kept his word on something.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Missing DLC coming to PS Vita Feb. 28

Have no fear, DLC is almost here.

Fans expecting to download Jill Valentine and Shuma-Gorath on the PS Vita version of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) were in for a surprise. Not a particularly pleasant one, however.

Last minute issues prevents the DLC characters from transferring from the PSN store to Sony's new handheld. According to Capcom, this will no longer be an issue by Tuesday (Feb. 28):

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 now available for PS Vita

Capcom's Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) has been released today (Feb. 22) for the PS Vita. The crossover title comes to Sony's new handheld as a launch title.

All characters, modes and stages from the console versions are available on the PS Vita version. The handheld even gets exclusive features like replays and a gold color scheme for Heroes and Heralds.

If you purchased the DLC costume packs off PSN, you can transfer that data to the Vita version. As of this writing, gamers are having trouble transferring Jill Valentine and Shuma-Gorath.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Synergy with Spider-Man, Deadpool and Nemesis (Video)

It's no secret that Spider-Man can cause headaches on his own in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3), but when he has two teammates to help him out, that's when the trouble really begins. YoItsOdin demonstrates this in his latest video, "We Got OTG's and Ground Bounces."

NOTE: Music not safe for work (NSFW).

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Doctor Strange Damage Demonstration

He's heard the Doctor Strangelove jokes, he's not amused.

Doctor Strange isn't considered by many to be a huge threat in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3). While his abilities can't be denied, Strange has low health, making players reluctant to choose him.

If nothing has swayed you to pick Strange for your team, maybe a damage demonstration will.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 "Online Warrior" episode #17

Maximilian has taken a different approach with his "Online Warrior" videos.

Instead of recording his Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) online matches and inserting his voice afterward, he's now providing live commentary. He still gives tips on why he won or lost his matches.

Some of the language in this video isn't safe for work so you may want to put the headphones on or see it some other time. That way you can hear Max rage instead of your boss.

More hyper combos and ultras in your pocket.

UMvC3 producer Ryota Niitsuma is pleased with the Capcom's decision to make fighters available on handhelds. In fact, he tells VG247 that he'd like to see more of it:
