Quick Quote: New Ultra Street Fighter IV characters definitely not copy and pasted from SFxT
When in doubt, call Tomoaki Ayano. The Street Fighter producer has been busy with the press lately and this time he talks about bringing Street Fighter x Tekken characters to Ultra Street Fighter IV.

Ayano: Street Fighter V will probably come out in 2018 based on previous gaps
If the previous gaps between Street Fighter titles are any indication, we've still got a long way to go before Street Fighter V is released. See what Capcom producer Tomoaki Ayano had to say about a potential fifth installment inside.

Quick Quote: SFxT is in the process of rebalancing
"We are in the process of rebalancing Street Fighter X Tekken right now actually! I can’t say exactly when the free balance patch will be released, but it will definitely address a lot of issues that players have with the gameplay right now. We have done our best to listen to community feedback and implement fixes accordingly, so please keep your eyes peeled for more news and information on this!"
Those are the words of Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT) producer, Tomoaki Ayano as said on MTV's Multiplayer Blog. Ayano has had some big shoes to fill since Yoshinori Ono stepped out of the spotlight. Time will tell if he can save SFxT's lasting appeal with the community.
Fernando's POV: I'll give SFxT a chance with the rebalancing but how many false starts do you need to finally get it right? It's insane how Capcom can't seem to get it right from the beginning. Constant patching is needed and often on another disc. They need to figure it out or fans will continue to lose faith.

Capcom considering SFxT rebalance
If all else fails, keep patching.
It looks like Capcom isn't done trying to make Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT) relevant. The game's producer Tomoaki Ayano took to the Capcom-Unity to address re-balancing.

Mega Man and Pac-Man will not be coming to Xbox 360 version of SFxT
And boom goes the dynamite.
Since Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT) was released, Capcom has produced blunder after blunder. First the on-disc content was discovered, then sound issues online, then a patch caused the game to freeze when using Rolento. Now Xbox 360 owners won't even get to play as two characters that are locked on their disc.
Looks like Aren Douglass was onto something.

Street Fighter x Tekken: Patch for Rolento glitch set for June 14
The current Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT) producer Tomoaki Ayano has released some news on the Japanese Capcom blog (via SRK). Last month, a Rolento glitch was discovered. Throwing a knife at projectiles causes the game to freeze.
That same month, Capcom revealed a patch would be on the way. Ayano says the patch will arrive June 14. He also apologizes for the wait and says the company wishes to avoid making the same mistake in the future.
Ayano is currently in the United States. He is preparing to attend the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), which is set to go down June 5-7.

Capcom: We're considering changing the release date for SFxT DLC characters
The DLC saga continues.
By now you probably realize that Capcom will include 12 new characters on the PS Vita version of Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT). In all likelihood you also know these characters were found hidden as DLC in the console versions of the game.
The controversy certainly didn't help the sales of SFxT. Thus far, the game has sold 1.4 million copies, below Capcom's expectation of two million.
SFxT's interim producer, Tomoaki Ayano took to the Capcom Blog to address concerns of lack of interest in the game by the time characters hit Xbox Live and PSN. See what he said after the jump.

Tomoaki Ayano talks Street Fighter x Tekken for PS Vita
Capcom's Tomoaki Ayano is filling in for Yoshinori Ono as Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT) producer of the PS Vita version. Ono was hospitalized last month and will be taking time off indefinitely as a result.
GameSpot spoke with Ayano to discuss what makes the PS Vita version of SFxT stand out. The focus point of the interview is the "exclusive characters" that are available on the Sony handheld version. They will of course only be exclusive for a limited time.
After the PS Vita "exclusive characters" were found locked in the disc of console versions, Capcom confirmed that they would be DLC for $20 or 1,600 Microsoft Points.
