Ryota Niitsuma denies UMvC3 Uncanny Edition rumors
Stop the madness.
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) has been the subject of many rumors (UMvC3x anybody)? A new rumor has once again had the community interested, but with caution this time. Reports of an "Uncanny Edition" made its way to numerous sites.
Mega Man was rumored to be a part of this edition as well as replays. Other characters and features were set for this edition as a $15 download. Sounds good, right? That's because it's not true.
UMvC3 producer Ryota Niitsuma was asked on Twitter if an "Uncanny Edition" was indeed true. His response ... "that is a lie."

Balance patch for UMvC3 unlikely in 2012
Dark Wesker lives on.
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) has a solid following in the fighting game community (FGC). While some characters such as; Wesker, Hulk, and Morrigan have abilities and tactics that may be considered cheap, the argument against it would be that everyone is beatable.
Still, some are calling for a rebalance. Those hoping for one in 2012 shouldn't hold their breath. When asked about a patch on Twitter, UMvC3 producer Ryota Niitsuma shot it down.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3: DLC costume glitch patched
Chances are, you saw this coming.
Rather than adding more interesting characters or addressing the severe lack of content in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3), Capcom has delivered a patch for themselves. The company has patched the DLC costume glitch.
The bug would give gamers access to DLC skins that are available for purchase. This also allowed gamers to play as Magneto's "removed" DLC attire.
Last month UMvC3 producer, Ryota Niitsuma, said the glitch would be patched. At least he finally kept his word on something.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3X rumor untrue
The Ultimate expansion will not have an expansion.
This past weekend, a rumor on NeoGAF sent the fighting game community on a frenzy. The rumor claimed that Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) would be receiving an expansion titled "3X."
The poster claimed to have worked for GameStop and that the retailer's computer system contained the following information: "Expand the ultimate experience. 8 new challengers join the fight!"
Prices claimed by the "tipster" were $14.99 for a DLC voucher and $39.99 for a disc version. So what does Capcom have to say about all of this?
Bogus!

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 patch available today (Feb. 1)
It's not what you may think it is.

So what does this new patch mean for your favorite characters? Nothing.
UMvC3 producer, Ryota Niitsuma took to Twitter to explain:

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Unused Stage Theme Discovered
Not all stages are Ultimate.
Anorhc dug into the contents of the Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) disc to release a jukebox of stage themes. His efforts were rewarded upon discovering the theme to an unused Okami stage.
Back in July 2010, Capcom developer, Ryota Niitsuma, said an Okami stage was in the works for the original MvC3 title, but due to "clashing with the game's graphical style," the stage was scrapped.

Ryota Niitsuma: UMvC3 patch coming by the end of 2011
Japanese Capcom developer, Ryota Niitsuma, has revealed that Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) will receive a patch by the end of this year via twitter.
Can't read Japanese? No problem, we've got you covered.
Here's what twitter followers asked Niitsuma:
Mr. Niitsuma, people have been discovering infinites and bugs since UMvC3's release. When will these be fixed? Are there any titles in Vanilla MvC3 that are not obtainable in Ultimate? I was recently watching NEC 12, and isn't Wesker way too strong? 7 of the Top 8 players used Wesker... by the way, what about a patch?
See Niitsuma's response to those questions below:
