MvC2, 3rd Strike, and Puzzle Fighter now available in Chinatown Fair Arcade

They're back!

When Chinatown Fair in New York City reopened, there was plenty to be excited about. When the Arcade returned, that excitement was replaced with disappointment.

Interview with Chinatown Fair manager by DeadlyBison (Video)

On May 5 Chinatown Fair (CF) reopened in New York City. The Arcade brought joy to families and kids, but dismay to hardcore fighting game fans. Skeeball, basketball, air hockey, Terminator Salvation, and Guitar Hero were all present but fighting games were nowhere to be seen. The CF manager, Lonnie doesn't want fans to jump to conclusions as he assures the community that the fighting games of yesteryear as well as some new ones will make their way to the Arcade.

Report: Chinatown Fair will reopen

Could it be?

Early last year, the Chinatown Fair Arcade in New York City closed. In June that same year, Henry Cen, opened Next Level, the spiritual successor to Chinatown Fair in Brooklyn, NY. Now it looks like Chinatown will get its Arcade back.

Arcade Movie, took a photo of the security gate at 8 Mott Street. They discovered some old arcade cabinets. The source spoke with Cen, who told them that a man named Lonnie would be reopening the Arcade.

Who says Arcades are dead?
