Asura's Wrath: Gameplay of Ryu and Evil Ryu

Asura is a fighter. So it should come as no surprise that Capcom would add a mode that features Street Fighter's Ryu, Evil Ryu, and Akuma to Asura's Wrath. What is a bit shocking is Capcom's lack of advertisement and information regarding the DLC.

The DLC episode featuring Ryu and Evil Ryu is available now in Japan, and will hit North America tomorrow (May 9). Akuma will be released May 16. The Lost Episode #1 will cost you 160 Microsoft Points or $1.99 on PSN.

Since it was announced, fans had little knowledge on what role these Street Fighter characters would have. Thanks to YamiBikutoru we know what it is before it launches. See the gameplay footage below:

Ryu, Akuma, and Evil Ryu featured in Asura's Wrath Trailer (Video)

Street Fighter x Asura? Capcom has released a trailer, uploaded by Maximilian, for Asura's Wrath DLC. The episodes will cost 160 Microsoft Points or $1.99 on PSN. Ryu will be available in North America on May 9, while Akuma will arrive May 16.

Week 10 of Gamespot's Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) costume breakdown is up and it's a good one.

Sentinel was featured in the first MvC game as an assist. He became playable in the second and third installments of the game. Ryu has been a playable character since X-Men vs. Street Fighter.

There are some color options that may jump out at you more than others. Ryu has Evil Ryu and Ken colors while Sentinel has his Nimrod color.

Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition available now

You wanted it, you've got it.

Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition has made its way to major and local retailers today (June 28, 2011). New to the Arcade Edition are Yun, Yang, Oni and Evil Ryu.

Capcom has promised that this version of Super Street Fighter IV has upped the ante. With "updated balancing" and "an enhanced Replay Channel," we would hope so.
