Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection receiving a patch by Thanksgiving

Co-creator of the Mortal Kombat series, Ed Boon, announced that a patch for the Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection (MKAK) will be available on Xbox Live and PSN by Thanksgiving day.

The game was released August 31, 2011 for Xbox 360 and PS3. The PC version of the game was originally delayed until the following month, but Boon revealed via twitter that a PC version was never meant to be.

MKAK was criticized for its weak netcode that many deemed as unplayable. Boon and his team are working on patch notes and will be releasing them soon.

The "Kollection" features Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2 and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. Since many loyal MK fans already brought these games and Trilogy, the main draw for MKAK was its online mode.

However, as you can tell from the video below, it's not satisfactory.
