The public beta is in full swing.

Omega Evolution is live streaming the public beta of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. The streamer is participating in 2v2 match-ups with Popcornman619.

Sony updated the PSN store earlier this evening (Oct. 23) to add the Battle Royale beta. There has been some issues with the servers as some games have host errors. Nonetheless, the show must go on.

October is starting with a bang.

PandaxGaming is set for another Ultimate Fight Night (UFN) event tonight (Oct. 1) at 9 p.m. ET. This is a Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition v.2012 (AE v.2012) showcase. Prelims will being around 8 p.m. and the stream is currently being aired for testing. The card is also finalized but some changes have been made.

Mighty Kurokiba was originally scheduled to meet Lumina1re, but he will now face Baka. Smug da Beast replaces Poyple Toyful to battle IntegraTypeR97. BrolyLegs is also off the card and is being replaced by DRS MCZ Nashfan who now faces GOL Toi504. Aquasilk and Native Impact will still headline the event.

8 Way Run's 24/7 Twitch account is now (Sept. 21) streaming SoulCalibur V (SCV). Outside of MLG tournaments, SCV doesn't seem to be lighting up the fighting game community (FGC) as much as other titles. No worries here however, as the game still has a respectable following.
