Nintendo (via IGN) announced Super Smash Bros. 3DS earned one million sales during opening weekend in Japan. This includes both physical and digital versions. The game was released on Sept. 13 in the "Land of the Rising Sun."
Super Smash Bros. 3DS will arrive in North America on Oct. 3.
