Ancient Ogre infinite discovered in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (Video)

Not again. It seems infinites have capture another victim. DR1013 has found an infinite in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (TTT2) that can only be performed with Ancient Ogre. In the situation explained in the video, Ancient Ogre can kick his way to victory, while his opponent is never given the opportunity to block.

Dead or Alive 5 will utilize Online Pass

The Online Pass craze continues.

In an attempt to stop customers from purchasing used copies of Dead or Alive 5 (DoA 5), Tecmo Koei will require an Online Pass to access the game's online features. The bad news was delivered by GameFly (via EventHubs).

Like Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (TTT2), DoA 5's use of the Online Pass is starting to make its presence felt in fighting games. Capcom and Atlus have yet to implement this system in their fighters. Not even Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT), which is bombarded with disc locked content requires an Online Pass.

Fernando's POV: This is once again a case of a big company trying to dictate the customer's purchase. If I buy the game new, I shouldn't have to put in a code to play online. If I buy it used, I should still have the right to play online since it's on the disc. Further proof that most game companies care more about your wallet than your freedom.

Microsoft has renewed Killer Instinct Trademark

Looks like there's hope after all.

Fans of the Killer Instinct series have been left in the dust for years. The last title fans saw of the franchise was Killer Instinct: Gold for the Nintendo 64 (N64). That game was released in 1996.

It's hard to believe the last Killer Instinct game was made almost 16 years ago. Despite the agonizingly long wait, there may be a light at the end of the tunnel.

MvC Origins: "RETRO ASSIST ME!" Part 3 (Video)

The tutorial series was made in hopes of getting new players prepared for the re-release of MvC and Marvel Super Heroes. King of Summer Super Street Fighter II Turbo Round 2 results

The second round in the "King of Summer" tournament has concluded.

Arturo "TS Sabin" Sanchez hosted the second round of the Super Street Fighter II Turbo action on Saturday (Sept. 15). As a result of his first place finish in round one, jarek04 had a bye week. The finals will take place this Saturday (Sept. 22) ET.
