Making a Street Fighter x Tekken Arcade Cabinet pt. 2 (Video)

Over two months ago, AngryBananas101 posted the first part to the making of a Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT) Arcade cabinet. Now part two has been uploaded showing the use of a WWF Royal Rumble cabinet for the SFxT game.

Big Two 8/15/12 results

40 Big Two tournament events have concluded.

This event saw Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3), Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition v.2012 (AE v.2012), and Persona 4 Arena (P4A) action. Sp00ky was once again on streaming duties. Luckily there were no internet service provider (ISP) issues this time so the stream went smooth.

Of course top tournament goers such as Sanford "Santhrax" Kelly, Chris G, and others were in attendance. All competitors entered with the hopes of taking home prize money.

UMvC3: Strider combo compilation bonus by Maximilian (Video)

You can't get them all at one time. This is why Maximilian has added a new Strider video featuring combos from the Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) community. Surprisingly, Max left off the fairly popular Endless Comboz in his last video. He refused to make the same mistake twice.

Remember when Maximilian made a call for Strider players in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3)? Well his call was answered. A bevy of Strider users have sent Max videos of their stylish combos with the Capcom ninja.

NetherRealm Studios' Adam Urbano tells Joystiq the clash system in Injustice: Gods Among Us may be removed to keep the attention on character-specific attacks. It's possible this was done to cater more towards the "Evo crowd" who may have viewed the system as luck rather than skill.

Wakeup SRK 8/14/12 episode (Video)

Last night (August 14) Keits and skisonic returned to host Wakeup SRK. This was the first new episode for the crew since July 18. The duo were joined by top tournament goer Fanatiq for the 107th episode.

TTT2: World Tekken Federation announced, to be free of charge

Move over Call of Duty Elite, Tekken now tracks stats.

Namco Bandai has announced a new Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (TTT2) feature, World Tekken Federation. The free online mode sets out to do more than stat tracking. Here's the description:

"The World Tekken Federation online service will provide TEKKEN™ players with a social community platform to track personal statistics against the world, create and manage teams with friends, compete in online events and discuss intricate strategies with a level of unparalleled detail in the fighting game genre."

The 40th Big Two event is now in session.

Sp00ky and the crew are now (August 15) streaming casuals at Next Level in Brooklyn, NY. The tournament is set to begin at 8 p.m. ET. In addition to the usual Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (UMvC3) and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition v.2012 (AE v.2012) action, Persona 4 Arena (P4A) will also be streamed.
