via IGN

The revolution has begun.

Last week, the official trailer to WWE '13 was leaked, much to the chagrin of THQ. The game was officially revealed on Monday Night Raw, which would explain why THQ didn't want to keep the cat out of the bag.

And that's not all the news THQ has provided to IGN.

A 20 year retrospective of Mortal Kombat by Gamespot

20 years.

That's how long it's been since Mortal Kombat (MK) made its controversial debut. The fatalities of the first MK game in 1992 caused an outcry from parents who didn't want their kids to see violence of that magnitude.

Today, MK is one of the most highest grossing fighting games on the market. Its longevity is nothing short of impressive. Even though MK may not be a favorite on the competitive side, one can't deny its place in fighting game history.

Watch Gamespot's 20 year retrospective below:

TTT2 Producer: Criticism of DLC is unavoidable

Kunimitsu will be a DLC character in TTT2 along with Michelle, Ogre and Angel

DLC can be a gift and a curse.

You've heard both sides of the story, but what does Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (TTT2) producer, Katsuhiro Harada have to say about it? Find out (via Gamespot) below:

Capcom re-evaluating DLC delivery method

So they say.

Before its release, Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT) was marred by controversy. Since they were first announced at New York Comic Con 2011, gems have left a bad taste in the mouths of the fighting game community (FGC). An even bigger issue occurred just before launch day.

On-disc DLC.

To avoid more controversy in the future, Capcom Vice President, Christian Svensson has took to Capcom-Unity to address fans who are losing hope and patience. See his official statement after the jump.

The DLC saga continues.

By now you probably realize that Capcom will include 12 new characters on the PS Vita version of Street Fighter x Tekken (SFxT). In all likelihood you also know these characters were found hidden as DLC in the console versions of the game.

The controversy certainly didn't help the sales of SFxT. Thus far, the game has sold 1.4 million copies, below Capcom's expectation of two million.

SFxT's interim producer, Tomoaki Ayano took to the Capcom Blog to address concerns of lack of interest in the game by the time characters hit Xbox Live and PSN. See what he said after the jump.
